How To Save Your Own Instagram Videos

How To Save Your Own Instagram Videos – Instagram has an amazing community of photographers, some more gifted than others. From time to time I see a photo or video on Instagram that I want to save to my iPhone’s camera roll for later viewing or just because I’m interested.

The problem is that Instagram doesn’t allow you to save photos or videos from the app. I’m not entirely sure why this isn’t an option, but I’d argue that copyright laws might have something to do with it, along with the fact that Instagram wants you to use the app instead of uploading photos directly to your iPhone. .

That being said, there are definitely ways to download Instagram videos or photos to your iPhone. In this post, we will show you 3 ways to save Instagram photos and videos on your iPhone:

How To Download Your Own Instagram Reels Videos?

The best and easiest way to save Instagram photos is to use the Instagram photo downloader. There are literally dozens of apps in the App Store that let you save Instagram photos and videos to your device. The good news is that most of them are free. The bad news is that they usually contain in-app purchases, lots of ads, and aren’t always the prettiest apps.

Since we weren’t satisfied with any of these apps, we ended up developing our own app called Reposter for Instagram, formerly known as Regrammer.

Step 2. Find the photo or video you want to upload in the Instagram app, then click the share icon that looks like “…” above the photo and select “Copy Link”.

Step 3: Launch the Reposter app and paste the link you just copied into the box, then click Preview.

Step 5. Click “Repeat on Instagram”. This will open the Instagram Share sheet, but it will also automatically save the photo or video to the Camera Roll album. You can then close the Share sheet without sharing the post.

As I mentioned above, there are tons of apps for saving Instagram content, and not all of them are really pretty or even updated for the big iPhone screen, but they get the job done.

Most of these apps run on a coin-based system that allows you to download content where it costs a coin to save an image or video. When you first download the app, you get four free coins, but if you want more, you have to watch ads to earn them. Our Reposter app does not work this way and is completely free to use, although it is ad supported.

Another way to save Instagram photos and videos on your device is to use the Shortcuts app. Of course, this process is less elegant than using a dedicated app, but it gets the job done.

Instagram makes it easy to save and download videos from your story. But once you’ve created a video post, the three-dot menu no longer has the option to save it directly to your camera roll.
