When lightly breaded and then baked until crisp, it becomes a healthier version of your favorite fried chicken. We love to serve it with those sweet little pickles for an almost perfect fried chicken experience.
Spicy fried chicken is a very easy recipe. The only part that takes a little time and is messy is breading the chicken, but that step only takes about 10 minutes.
For the best flavor, the chicken should be marinated in the pickling water for at least two hours. But be careful not to leave it for more than 24 hours or the texture of the meat will change.
Option #1: Freeze the marinated chicken in bags (we love the reusable freezer bags from Stasher!) When you’re ready to finish making the recipe, place the chicken in the fridge in the fridge overnight and then proceed to bake the bread.

Option #2: Bread the roast chicken but don’t bake it. Instead, freeze it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Once the chicken is frozen, you can place it in a freezer bag for storage. Cook the frozen chicken, adding 10 minutes to the cooking time.
Although this chicken is baked in the oven, it will remind you of your favorite fried chicken and goes great with all the traditional fried chicken sides. Here are some of our favourites:

Pickle Brine Chicken (easy To Make!)
Why do we wash the chicken in pickled water? We’ve been asked this a couple of times, and the answer is simple. Because this is one of the easiest ways to make juicy and tasty chicken without adding many other seasonings. The marinade gives the chicken a slightly tangy flavor while keeping it moist throughout the cooking process.
We recommend that you allow at least two hours to marinate your chicken. However, if you have the time, we like to marinate overnight for the richest flavour. Make sure you don’t leave it in the brine for more than 24 hours or it will change the quality of the meat.
Since your marinade will greatly affect the flavor of your chicken, we recommend a simple, clean choice like the juice from this refrigerated marinade recipe. Feel free to get some from the grocery store, but avoid pickle juice that is yellow in color or loaded with too many extra ingredients.
We love a bunch of these with a side dish like roasted corn, garlic green beans, or simply roasted broccoli. And if you’re looking for something a little heartier, try some baked beans or these delicious smoked potatoes. And if you really feel like going all out, whip up this easy t-shirt. You won’t regret it.

Bring the grill to high heat (about 450 degrees) and place the chicken skin side down over direct heat for 3-5 minutes. Cook on the other side until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.

Although you might think this means you’ll have a very spicy piece of chicken, you’ll be surprised to know that’s not the case at all! Because the marinade is used as a marinade and brine, your chicken breast only retains a small portion of the flavor. While there is a hint of sourness to the dip, it is not strong at all. My husband didn’t suspect anything! 😂 The chicken breast is juicy, moist, perfectly flavoured.
Pickle Juice is as easy as it sounds! You only need a few ingredients to make this delicious and perfect fried chicken recipe.
It’s very easy to use leftover pickle juice to marinate your chicken breasts. It’s a super budget friendly recipe because you’re using something that would normally go to waste in your kitchen. It also uses one of the least expensive protein options: boneless, skinless chicken!
All you have to do is mix the pickle juice, sugar, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes.
Chicken Brine Recipe Using Pickle Juice For Moist Chicken
Add the chicken, passing each breast as you go. Once all of your chicken breasts have been added to the brine, drain them and cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a tight-fitting lid.
Put the bowl in the fridge and let your chicken marinate in the brine for 4 hours. If you are short on time, you can reduce the time to 1-2 hours. Although a short time is fine, 4 hours is strongly recommended. If you want to prepare your chicken breast the day before, you can extend it to 24 hours.
After your chicken is marinated in the marinade, you need to prepare it for the grill. If you take it out of the oven and put it directly on the grill, you’ll struggle to get a nice crisp on the outside. Before you put your chicken on the grill, you’ll want to take a few steps to prepare it properly.
Use a clean, lint-free paper towel or cloth to remove excess liquid from the surface of the chicken breast.

Since Pickle Juice Chicken doesn’t have much of a pickle juice flavor from the marinade, you have a lot of flexibility when it comes to side dishes. I served mine with a classic macaroni salad. feeling
