How To Make Rose From Tissue Paper – These paper flowers are easy to make, inexpensive and a great way to celebrate.
Today I will show you how to make paper flowers. I learned how to make them from an old Martha Stewart magazine and although they take a little patience, these DIY paper flowers are a great way to make a party! There are many colors to choose from. You can customize the design for all parties.

I really like my flowers so I used 16 layers but you can definitely use less. To determine the size of the flower cut, simply divide it in half. So, for example, an 8-inch square made a 4-inch flower.

The easiest way to hang them is to buy 3M clear order hooks. Then, all you have to do is attach the hook to the ceiling and tie some string or fishing line around the flower and then around the hook.
These flowers are very simple to make and make a great addition to any decor. In addition to hanging these paper flowers, you can also hang one on the table I made below… or make an inexpensive bag like the one above.
You can also make a beautiful flower wreath with these flowers. All you have to do is tie a wreath with fabric or string and glue the flowers to the top of the wreath. Then hang it on the door with a rope.
The possibilities are endless! There are so many great uses for these tissue paper flowers. Be creative with colors and sizes. When making this Candy Kiss and Rose Paper Bouquet with St. With Valentine in mind, I think this would also make a great Mother’s Day gift. Of course you can make them for your loved ones, ‘just because’ These are the best gifts to receive, right?
Tissue Paper Flowers
If you have made tissue paper flowers before, you should be able to do this. If you aren’t a fan of parchment paper, don’t worry! You won’t believe how easy these are to make. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll want to experiment with making different shapes and sizes.
The first thing you need to do is cut 3 tissue paper squares. You want 2 red squares and 1 green square. Each square should be about 5 inches.
Place the paper squares with the red fabric on top of the green square. Fold the accordion tightly.
Fold the folded tissue paper in the middle of the green chenille stem. Fold the chenille stem in half over the fabric.

Blend the ends of the chenille. Place it on a piece of tissue paper, but don’t hold it too tightly or the paper may tear.
Now carefully pick up the first layer of red paper. Gently press, and pull, up and away from the other two layers of tissue paper.
Do the same for the second layer of red tissue paper. At the same time, flip the green paper down.
Use scissors to cut out the green paper. You want the finished shape to look like a series of irregular triangles around the base of the rose – just like real roses have! I just randomly rubbed the tissue paper. Don’t worry about being neat or clear.

Finally, all that’s left to do is insert a Hershey’s Kiss candy into the center of the rosebud. I used hot glue, but you can use craft glue if you prefer.
You can make one sweet rose to give away or make several and make Kisses and Roses from purchased tissue paper! Who would you make one for?

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and this DIY paper rose is a really fun way to give your loved one a handmade gift to show them you care. This can be a really sweet gift for your child’s teacher and much better than anything they make. Valentine’s Day becomes a big spender and it really is not necessary! I’d rather have something that someone took the time to make than a big box of overpriced candy that you can pick up the next day from the clearance isle for 75% off. I hope you enjoy the lesson. 🙂
Make: Tissue Paper & Twig Spring Flowers
1. Make a circle (about 10 centimeters) for a rose, so make it according to your needs. Place a dinner plate on the parchment paper and cut the paper to make a circle. It may be easier if you draw a line with a pencil around the board and then cut.
2. Cut the circles into strips about 2 inches wide. There will be a rough spot where you started cutting. Fill it with scissors.
3. Make a 24 inch flower piece and place it on the parchment paper. Make a thin line on the top with glue, stopping at 18 inches.
4. Start at the outer end of the spiral strip, with the inner edge of the spiral towards you, begin to collect and press the spot on the upper part of the tape, following the glue line. It doesn’t have to be exactly the same; it would be better if it was a mass meeting. You can run out of tissue paper before the glue sets. Don’t worry – as long as you have 12 inches of fat left, the rose will be fine.

5. Allow the stain and glue to set for a few minutes. Meanwhile, cut a 2-inch piece of floral tape and trim to make long points. These will be the sepals.
6. Bend the end of the stem wire to make it easier to attach the tape, and starting on the left side, gently twist the wire, picking up the tape and tissue paper as you go. Pull the tape as you twist, pull the tape firmly. Keep the roll as tight as you can, but don’t worry if the taped area looks a little messy – it will settle down later.
7. When you reach the end of the collected paper, carefully pull the remaining tape from the bottom of the flower and press the excess over the stem. It is important to keep the tape at the base of the flower so that it is not too loose. Apply and fix it, and keep the tape tight when you wrap it.
8. Cut a 24 inch piece of tape and start a few inches below the flower, going up to the base of the flower. While the tape is wrapped tightly around the base, add the sepals one at a time. Put the tape back down and slide it over the rest of the wire. Toss and rub well with your fingers to form the rose.
