Take two paper cups. Start by making a small cut around the rim of the paper cup. and cut the edges.

Now, make a cut towards the bottom of the cup, leaving some space at the bottom. Do not cut all the way to the end, leave a gap at the bottom as shown in the image above.

Cut 5 more times. A total of 6 cuts are required because we are making a flower with 6 petals. Make sure to leave equal space between each petal, as these are flower petals.

If you want, you can first measure and mark the distance between each slat with a pencil to make sure they are all the same width.

Tip: Place the petals of the second paper cup flower a little shorter than the first petal above. So when you draw the pointed edges of the petal onto the second paper cup, make them a little shorter – not too short, by the way.
